First Reading: I Corinthians 5:6-8 ‘New Life with Jesus Christ’
In these passages, Saint Paul reminds us that it is not right to be proud, as in the saying, “A little bit of yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise.” He asks us to remove the old yeast of sin so that we will be entirely pure… like a new batch of dough without any yeast. ‘For our Passover Festival is ready, now that Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.’
Saint Paul then encourages us to celebrate our Passover not with the old yeast of sin and wickedness, but with the bread that has no yeast, the bread of purity and truth.
Second Reading: Message from Jesus Joseph (April 10, 1993)
(My God, all-powerful and with unending love for all mankind. My brothers are also here, the children of Blessed Name. I was resurrected because our God gave us much time to attain His love. My Children, these things that you are doing will give power not only to you but also to the whole world. May this be the time that you will no longer return to your old habits so that the world will not suffer.)
(It is very painful if God the Father will get angry. So, if possible, respect yourselves with true love for God the Father and most especially, for God the Mother who brings comfort to all Her children.)
I would like to congratulate all of you for a happy attitude and new body, soul and spirit as a sign that you will never sin anymore.
Live a new life, new things to do for God throughout your life.
It is again a big preparation.
Do not neglect your obligation to God.
What are you doing now is a continued act for in this way our God Father will be happy and will shower us all His blessings of abundant graces in our world.
I would like to warn you all to stay calm, not very aggressive to your decision making, which will lead all things to go wrong.
Have that attitude or character of being forgiving; for our Lord Blessed Name will understand and would help you as what you are.
Do not be worried nor be irritable to His coming. Stop questioning or arguing when will the Lord comes. No more quarrel nor battling among yourselves.
Wait and be happy, change your whole being to a new person. Have peace of mind; encounter God with true love in prayer and make yourselves obedient to what the Holy Spirit is telling you now.
(What I do not like that will happen to the children of Blessed Name is that when they will not reform, they may not have rest due to their bad deeds. It is very necessary that they acknowledge their sins and do not sin anymore. Do not pretend for you will never have peace. Throw away the evil tongue and deed because you will not be able to hear the voice of God.)
(I am here together with you but you cannot recognize because your hearts are close due to worry, envy, oppression and pride. Only a few have reformed, most of you still have hurt feelings and pretentious hearts. When will others reform? You will still not be at peace and be happy if you still have envy, worries. My children, husbands and wives, will you please unite with each other? Brothers, love one another, be humble so that you will receive the reward that is unending blessings.)
(We, the Spirits, hope that you will continue with your true character that is of Jesus Christ, our saviour and redeemer who is Jesus Joseph now and forever.)
(Do not worry nor be confused anymore. Look at Jesus Christ who died because of love and obedience to the command of God the Father. That is why, you should now put to rest your individual souls and bodies away from sinning. Do not conform anymore to the sinful pleasures in this world.)
(Search for heavenly things because these are the easiest to follow in this world.)
(Hence, we the Spirits of God, are calling you to hear and listen; open your eyes so that you will find the true spirit and so that the light of God the Holy Spirit will reign in your heart.
(I will go home now and as always, I am with you if you do not sin anymore. Do not be worried and sad; be happy and joyful so that it will not be heavy for Blessed Name to carry you.)
(Our God Mother, Blessed Name, is kind and loving. It is true indeed that without Commander carrying the cross of Her children, the situation of men here in this world is very terrible.)
(Hence, be vigilant at all times so that you will not be carried away by the mesmerizing spirits or by false teachings.)
(Thank you, my children, and continue with your prayers and praises for His coming.)

Gospel: John 20: 1 – 10 ‘Jesus is Risen from the Dead’
The gospel of Saint John narrates that one early Sunday morning when it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb of Jesus and saw that the stone had been taken away from the entrance. She ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved and told them that ‘they have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him.’
The two disciples ran to the tomb and saw the linen cloths lying in the tomb; and the linen cloth which had been around Jesus’ head rolled up by itself but not lying with the linen cloths. The other disciple who reached the tomb first also went in after Simon Peter did and he saw and believed. Then the disciples went back home. Saint John noted that the disciples still did not understand the scripture which said that Jesus must rise from death.
Central Idea:
All these readings focus on the meaning of Jesus’ resurrection as ‘victory’ over death and a passage to a new ‘life’. To Jesus’ followers and believers, this means victory over sins, negative attitudes and thought patterns that keep us away from happiness and peace of mind that God wants us to enjoy.
Jesus’ resurrection then exemplifies the ‘new life’ that we too can earn and attain if we begin to follow Jesus by also carrying our cross with faith that in the end, like Jesus, we will also rise with our reward of LIFE.
Prayer:
‘Oh, Lord Jesus, help us to bear and carry our cross with humility, forbearance and faith that you are always with us every second of our journey to our new life with you.’
